Hi, came across your blog about pixies about a year ago, and I’d just like to let you know that I cut my hair to a pixie after seeing your fantastic photos and styles. I love it, and I’ll be keeping it for a long time with how easy it is in the mornings. My style is kind of like the Audrey #2 with a much longer fringe that I sweep and tuck behind a pin above my ear. Thankyou for being such an inspiration for me, and I hope you do well with your new and longer hair!
Hi Rebecca, all the way down under! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story, I appreciate that, and congrats on your pixie 😀 My longer hair and I are getting to know each other again, and it feels right for me now — I still miss that pixie sometimes, though, especially when I’m in a hurry to look presentable 😉
I just wanted thank you, I came across your site while looking for pixie cuts that will suit my face. and your tips, pro’s & con’s, advice really gave me the confidence I needed to get my hair cut. Thank you!!!
My pleasure, alysia, that’s wonderful to hear 😀
I love your message. And the wisdom behind the way you clothe yourself. It’s inspiring. Authenticity is stunningly beautiful and you do it well.
P.S. There is a food blogger from Th Little Paris Kitchen (Rachel Khoo) whose style you might admire. Check her out!
All the best!
A late reply, but a reply nonetheless: thank you, Jonna, for your kind words and the blog tip!
Today is my last day with long hair; tomorrow I have my appointment in the salon to get my pixie cut.
I’ve been thinking about it the last month and now I’m pretty sure about it.
So I just want to thank you, because your blog basically disappeared all the doubts I had about it.
Now I just can’t wait to style my hair like you!!!
I must say that I’m usually too shy and introvert and I’m so tired about it, I was complexed about my weight and my face and what people could think about me and… well I was basically scared of everything!
But girl, I just saw you pictures and you have this enormous confidence in your eyes, you really look comfortable with yourself and that’s such a beautiful thing!
So I thought you should know you helped me to give a HUGE step in my life.
Wish me luck!
Ps. I’m your fan!
Darling Ary, thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I do hope your pixie and you have a very happy life together <3
YAY 😀 Go, Ary!
Miss your blog, where are you?
Oh, you know, less on the Internet and more out in the real world — but back now, in a way
I just found your blog via a pin on Pinterest. Love it. Brilliant, insightful, and positive. Thank you for posting such great content.
My pleasure, Susan!
I really really miss your amazing posts and great style! I hope everything is fine with you and you’re busy with happy, successful and funny stuff.
All the best,
Such a kind comment, thank you, darling! As you can see, I’m back now, and feeling strangely inspired to write
Hi Maria. I found your blog looking for ideas for picked. I swear I’ve seen ALL the same pics on Pinterest and they’re not too inspiring. I decided to change what I was searching for. I’ve got a fuller face/neck post 4 kids and found your blog. After looking thru all your posts, I’m confident in saying I want my hair like yours. I remember seeing Ginnifer Goodwin’s hair, loving it but thinking couldn’t pull it off. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Just curious, how did you style it in the beginning?
Hi I really like your post I have been wanting a pixie cut for probably two years but have been really scared to get one just because my family is very religious and I tend to be the black sheep of the family I love being girly girl I wear A lot of dresses but have a lot of tattoos my hair is very long to the middle of my bottom and thick . I think I might just go for it this weekend it grows back anyways 😊
