Hi, came across your blog about pixies about a year ago, and I’d just like to let you know that I cut my hair to a pixie after seeing your fantastic photos and styles. I love it, and I’ll be keeping it for a long time with how easy it is in the mornings. My style is kind of like the Audrey #2 with a much longer fringe that I sweep and tuck behind a pin above my ear. Thankyou for being such an inspiration for me, and I hope you do well with your new and longer hair!
Hi Rebecca, all the way down under! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story, I appreciate that, and congrats on your pixie 😀 My longer hair and I are getting to know each other again, and it feels right for me now — I still miss that pixie sometimes, though, especially when I’m in a hurry to look presentable 😉
I just wanted thank you, I came across your site while looking for pixie cuts that will suit my face. and your tips, pro’s & con’s, advice really gave me the confidence I needed to get my hair cut. Thank you!!!
Today is my last day with long hair; tomorrow I have my appointment in the salon to get my pixie cut.
I’ve been thinking about it the last month and now I’m pretty sure about it.
So I just want to thank you, because your blog basically disappeared all the doubts I had about it.
Now I just can’t wait to style my hair like you!!!
I must say that I’m usually too shy and introvert and I’m so tired about it, I was complexed about my weight and my face and what people could think about me and… well I was basically scared of everything!
But girl, I just saw you pictures and you have this enormous confidence in your eyes, you really look comfortable with yourself and that’s such a beautiful thing!
So I thought you should know you helped me to give a HUGE step in my life.
Hi Maria. I found your blog looking for ideas for picked. I swear I’ve seen ALL the same pics on Pinterest and they’re not too inspiring. I decided to change what I was searching for. I’ve got a fuller face/neck post 4 kids and found your blog. After looking thru all your posts, I’m confident in saying I want my hair like yours. I remember seeing Ginnifer Goodwin’s hair, loving it but thinking couldn’t pull it off. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Just curious, how did you style it in the beginning?
Hi I really like your post I have been wanting a pixie cut for probably two years but have been really scared to get one just because my family is very religious and I tend to be the black sheep of the family I love being girly girl I wear A lot of dresses but have a lot of tattoos my hair is very long to the middle of my bottom and thick . I think I might just go for it this weekend it grows back anyways ?

My pleasure, alysia, that’s wonderful to hear 😀
I love your message. And the wisdom behind the way you clothe yourself. It’s inspiring. Authenticity is stunningly beautiful and you do it well.
P.S. There is a food blogger from Th Little Paris Kitchen (Rachel Khoo) whose style you might admire. Check her out!
All the best!

A late reply, but a reply nonetheless: thank you, Jonna, for your kind words and the blog tip!

Miss your blog, where are you?
Oh, you know, less on the Internet and more out in the real world — but back now, in a way 🙂
I just found your blog via a pin on Pinterest. Love it. Brilliant, insightful, and positive. Thank you for posting such great content.

Just found this old post. It’s a good one, you’ve cleared up a lot of questions I had about my short waist and what to wear.
