I am a fashion consultant

That’s right, darlings, today I had my last exam, and am now finished with my education at Imageakademiet. All that remains is a dancing-on-the-table-party tomorrow, and receiving our diplomas on Friday, and then school’s over and I probably won’t be a student ever again. That’s fine with me, though – I’ve absolutely loved the past six months, but I feel I need something different now. Just don’t ask me what that is yet.

This is what I wore today for the final exam. It was an oral presentation of a styling project we just did (I’ll show you later). This might become another favourite top, I spotted it in the men’s sales section at H&M and knew immediately I had to try it on. Pink is definitely becoming something of an obsession of mine.

A little leopard print makes every outfit more special, I think. I like how it looks next to the pink.

The pants are the ones I showed you in my last post. They were far too long for me, as pants tend to be, so I hemmed them by hand yesterday using an invisible stitch. You can still kind of see it if you look closely, but that’s mostly due to that I didn’t have time to iron it. I don’t have a sewing machine, so being able to do small alterations by hand is very useful. Besides, I am a fashion consultant now, and we’re supposed to have skills like that! Huzzah!
that was fast, congrats!
Thank you! It was a half-year kind of study, and they sure packed in a lot of stuff. Feels great, though, I’ve learnt SO much
Yay! Congratulations
Thank you!
You look absolutely stunning as alway! <3
And you are such a sweetheart, as always <3
Congratulations! If anyone deserves the title of “Fashion Consultant”, it’s you! You have helped me so much in finding my own style over the last year and I say it’s about time you received recognition for being fabulous! Also, you look the part: I had no idea you were wearing a men’s sweater and those pants are lovely.
If I may say so, I adore that picture ‘Happy
”. Posed pictures are can be gorgeous, but I find nothing beats a natural smile. It looks like you captured yourself in a real moment, paired with the sunlight in your hair you look, in a word: beautiful. I can’t think of a better word for it. Embarassing for an English major -_-’
I’m excited to see what’s in store for you and congratulations again!
Girl, you definitely have a talent for writing fantastic comments! I’m all happy and bubbly now
Thank you so much.
And yes, I also prefer candid (or pretend-candid) shots to the posed ones. In this one, I was actually all ready with a boring ol’ posed face, but then Cookie said something funny and snapped me just in time. Having her as a photographer is great, because it doesn’t feel awkward or self-centered when she’s behind the camera (you hear that, Cookie? You’re my hero!).
And “beautiful” is a fantastic word, what with making people so happy when they hear it and all
Thank you, Trajena, darling!
Celebrate your pants off, darling! You’re SO fashion-consulting me come July!
I totally am – and only two weeks to go now! Can’t wait
Hipp hipp!
Congratulations! You did it!
I did! Huzzah!
Awesomeness! Well done you – now come over here to the UK and sort my wardrobe out it’s a mess!
Gratulerer Flinka!
